Daddy's Shoes
I was making the kids school lunches one morning and this came walking around the corner.
He had put on Scott's shoes and was stomping the best he could around the kitchen.
He thought he was big stuff.
Checking to see if they fit right.
I think they are a little big.
He loves to put shoes on and it doesn't matter if they are on his hands or his feet.
He stomps everywhere.

Fourth Grade Pioneer Projects
Ethan's Porject
Flat River Boat
Ethan has a horse and some pigs on his boat.
He has a barrel for water, some hay for the animals, a water tough that you can't see.
His little man likes to fish so he made a fishing pole and a fish in case the man gets hungry.
There is a fence dividing the space between the man and the animals.
He really thought out the details of his project and wanted to still add things before I made him stop and go to bed.
All the figures were made out of Model Magic Fusion by Crayola.
My kids love to make things out of Model Magic.
The clay is soft and air dries.  Very easy to use and kid friendly.

Ethan's man.
(I helped a little bit on this one.)
Horse in case you couldn't tell.  I made the head.  Ethan was
having trouble with the head.
Pigs and little man Olivia made.  I love the little pig on the right.  He has a cute smile.
Olivia's Flat River Boat.
Olivia saw Ethan making his boat and wanted to join in on the fun.
She ended up doing 2 projects.  This is her second project.
In case you can't tell she has a bucket of milk from the cow and a fish the man caught
during his free time, also straw, corn, and water for the animals to drink.
I love the detail she put into her extra project.

Olivia's actual project.
A Patchwork Quilt Pillow
Olivia and I cut the fabric together and she sewed it on her sewing machine she got a few
years a go for Christmas.  She has taken several sewing classes at Joanne Fabrics.
I am sure it should have been hand stitched but she is just like her mother
and she likes electric and things that use electric.
She didn't know why they wouldn't have used a sewing machine in the first place.
I did make her hand sew some of it but neither one of us had enough
patience to hand sew the whole thing.

03/08/11

I know I have been posting a lot of Ryan pictures but he is doing
such cute things while the big
kids are at school.
Plus how can I deny you such cuteness.
The first word out of Ryan's mouth in the morning is not Mommy,
it is EeeeA (which is what he calls Olivia).
He knows if he yells for her she will come rescue him out of the evil
clutches of the crib.
Those are 2 happy faces.

Olivia is such a good big sister.
I am glad she wished on that star for me to have a baby.
Ryan has truly blessed our family in more ways than one.
I am glad God gave him to us and let me carry him even when it was a medical impossibility.
All my kids are my little miracles.

I just love this kid!

Ryan took Olivia's glasses and put them on.
Isn't he so stinking cute?
He knows it too.

Meet Jake, my nephew.
This is my sister Jill's 3rd born and her 3rd boy.
How can you get mad at him with those big brown eyes?

He is Ryan's bestest friend.
Ryan loves to go to Jake's house and help him make a mess.
When I get close to Jake's house Ryan starts to yell and get excited because
he recognizes the house.  If I ask him if he wants to go to Jake's house, he runs and gets his shoes.
The 2 of them giggle and like to play cars.

Color Time

Who says I am too young to color?

I like all the pretty colors.

I can use scissors now.
Just kidding... he can't use scissors.   I took the away from him before he
cut something he shouldn't.

Ryan being all that!
Ryan loves HATS!

This is Ethan's favorite hat.  Ryan thinks he is getting away with something by having it on.
If E knew he had it he would not be too happy with Ryan.
Shhhhhh....I will never tell.

Ethan loves the Monster Energy symbol.
Just so you know he only likes it because it looks cool and it is lime green.
Ethan is not allowed to drink Monster because lets face it, kids simply do NOT
need anymore energy.

MARCH!
I enjoyed the Things I Loved series but I am glad it is over.
Here is the cutest Darth Vader EVER!
I wish the picture had sound because he growls when he has the mask on
because he is trying to scare you.
E and O would put this on and he would scream and run
in fear.  Now he thinks it is funny to run around and scare them.
They play along of course.

"Grrrrr!"

"Don't be scared it is just me, Ryan."

"Grrr... Scaring people is so much fun!"

Day 28 of Things I Love
Family
This is the last day of the Things I Love series.  YIPEEE!
Picture provided by Billie Mitchell Photography.
Click HERE to go to her website.
In the background is the Big Blue Truck.  This truck was my dad's
work truck for years.  It hauled his bulldozer to and from jobs everyday.
When my dad decided to retire he couldn't part with Ole Blue because we would clean it up
every 4th of July and throw candy off the back.  It became a family tradition.
Dad took off the old dozer bed and converted it into a parade truck.
You can find us every 4th of July in the Centerburg and Sunbury parades.  We can also be seen
at the Old Time Farming Festival Parade the 3rd week in September.

Day 27 of Things I Love
My NIKON S8000 Point and Shoot
with HD video

I love my point and shoot.  It fits right in my pocket and perfect for a
day at the beach, snow tubing, taking short video clips, etc...
I don't even own a video camera.
I use the video setting and it takes the perfect HD quality videos.

Day 26 of Things I Love
The SHARK!

If you do not have a dog then the Shark sweeper is the next best thing.
My shark will literally pick up anything that is dropped on the floor.

Day 25 of Things I Love
AIR CONDITIONING!
I know it is winter but I do love air conditioning!
I would like to thank the Father of Cool,
Willis Haviland Carrier
for the wonderful invention of the
Air Conditioner.

Day 23 of Things I Love

Day 22 of Things I Love
Perfect Brownie  Pan
or AKA PBP

I love the PBP!  It really does make the perfect brownies.
What I hate about making brownies is cutting them.
This pan automatically has the brownies cut into the perfect size and
they look beautiful too.

The PBP with the divider in.
The PBP makes 18 perfect brownies.

The PBP has a break away bottom.

Look at those perfect brownies!  Perfectly cut!
Things I have made in the PBP.
Corn bread, muffins, cake, cookies, and of course brownies.
Can you think of anything else that would be good in the PBP?

Day 21 Of Things I Love
My Couch
This picture does not really do the couch justice.
It was hard to get the lighting right and my camera set right because I was using my Nikon point and shoot.
It does not let me custom change things.
Basically I was too lazy to change the lens on my camera to the regular one.
(Scott, if you are reading this, it is a hint that I need a lens like the one Billie currently has on her camera.  Hint Hint)
The couch is chocolate with lime green pillows.
