Airplane Rides

We were a little bored on the airplane.  Here are some goofy pictures of our ride.  BTW... We are heading to California for vacation.  

Last day of school

Ryan in the last day if preschool with Mrs. Shoemaker sporting his orange cast.   

Ethan and Olivia in the first day on 7th grade and the last day of 7th grade.  I don't think Ethan grew very much.  LOL!   Yes, he really is that much taller than Olivia.   

New Cast

Driving

Yes, Olivia is driving on the road.  Now I know you are wondering, when did the twins turn 16?  They are not 16, they are 14.  Iowa law say they can learn to drive at 14.  I know you are thinking, "WHAT?!!! That is too young to drive!" Well, think back.  How old were you when you started driving on the road? I was 14 when my dad started to teach me how to drive.  Scott and I also figure the more they drive with us the better they will be at 16 when they can drive on their own.  They are also currently enrolled with the Drive With Cops program.  Cops are the ones teaching them to drive the right way.  Notice I do not have a picture on Ethan.  I do not allow him to drive with me in the car.  He is HORRIBLE and I want to live.  LOL!   He is learning.  Hopefully by the time they finish drivers ed they will both be better than they are now.  

Ice pack

I had to buy a new ice bag because the hospital one sprung a leak.  I bought this one.  Ryan took one look and said that the ice bag was for heads not legs.  I told him it was for both.  I left the room and came back in this is what I found.  

Big Wheel

A Ryan and I went to a few garage sales yesterday.  Here are a few of his finds.  

A slinky, a big wheel, a magnifying glass, and really big binoculars.  

He was having a good time ripping around on the big wheel he bought for $5.00.  Until... He wiped out at the end of the driveway.  

Here he is at the hospital with a spiral fracture of the tibia.  He is in a full length cast for 6 weeks.  He is not allowed to put any weight on it until the doctor tells us.  He went from a thumbs up on the big wheel to a double thumbs down on the cast in less than 3 hours.  Poor kid is miserable.  

Spring break trip

We went to Ohio for a quick visit for spring break.  Here are some fun pictures.

Last 4 Months

I heard recently that some people are missing my blog posts.  Here is what has been going on for the last few months.  

Scott and I took Ryan to Disney World.  He said at the end of the day that it was the best day of his life.  :) 

Olivia scored a superior in a piano competition.  

Scott spoke at church on financial freedom.   

Olivia and Ethan went on a school trip to Washington, D.C.  Olivia took lots of pictures.  Ethan not so much.  :) 

I went to Minneapolis for a girls shopping weekend.  IKEA, Mall of America, Junk Bonanza and good food! 

Torture

Ethan had the ingrown toenails cut out of his toe.  I love torturing my kids.  LOL!  The doctors thumbs up was a nice touch.  

Santa NOEL

Toilet Paper

Lenny toilet papered the bathroom last night, dyed the water blue, and put goldfish in the water to watch them swim.  He used a whole roll of paper and decided to wear the tube.  This is one crazy elf! 

Girlfriend

I think Lenny has a girlfriend.  We caught Lenny and Jessie riding on Ty-Long, Ethan's dinosaur.  Buzz and Woody must not have liked that too much.  Woody got gobbled up by Ty-Long and Buzz shot Ty with his lazer.  

Toy Story Fun

I have to be careful what I say about Lenny on Instagram because I have some younger followers.   This one was all Scott.  I wasn't feeling good and went to bed early.  This is what I woke up to and what Scott says is going on.  

Lenny and his friends from Toy Story were up all night playing.  Buzz is on the table saying, "Jump, I will catch you!" Looks like they had a lot of fun last night.   

Naughty or Nice

Lenny wants to know, have you been Naughty or Nice? He is always watching no matter where you are.  LOL!  🚽

Car ride

Lenny decided to go for a joy ride last night in the remote control car.  

Repelling

Lenny decided to do some wall repelling.  It looks like he was trying to get on top of the tree again.  

Countdown

Lenny left us a countdown to Christmas written on toilet paper.  He must have known Ryan was driving me nuts asking if it was Christmas yet.  

Jesus

Lenny came back.  This time he set up the nativity scene because he knows Jesus is the reason for the season.
