80's Prom Party

Scott and I were invited to an 80's Prom Party at a friends house.
These are the outfits we wore for the party.  

Me sporting a homemade corsage and hair piece made by me,
pink hair extentions, and plenty of blue make-up.
BTW... Claire's has a whole 80's section in their store.

I know you are asking, Why did Scott have a tux in college?
He was in concert band and work in catering on the side.
He also wore this tux when he proposed to me.
He was excited he still fit in it.

When she is not here he asks, "Where's EeeeA?" and then 

answers himself by saying, "I don't know."

Olivia has been doing Zumba with Scott and I.  

She is actually really good for an 11 year old. 

She had the Zumba instructors daughter over this weekend.

Olivia is a very smart girl!

She conned her tiny little brother into pushing her on her scooter down the road.

He pushed her for quite a while too.  He was having a ball until he fell 

and skinned his knee and elbow.  

Ryan got tired of pushing so she gave him a ride.

Ryan got a boo boo.

He got 2 band-aids.
Other than the pediatricians office giving him a band-aid when they give him a shot he
has never had a band-aid before.  

Here is the band-aid on his knee.

What is this sticky thing on my arm?
He kept saying, "It's stuck! It's stuck!" and he would point to the band-aids.
He left them on for a whole 10 minutes.

Ryan is just like his big brother Ethan.  

He loves dirt bikes.

This bike belongs to one of our friends.  Their 6 year old girl rides this bike.  

It even has training wheels on it.  

Ry couldn't wait to get on it and make varooooooming noises.

Ethan is doing a famous Ohioan project at school.

Ethan chose Drew Carey as his famous Ohioan.  

They actually have to dress up like the Ohioan they chose.  

Ryan found Ethan's glasses for the project and put them on.  

He likes to squint his eyes when he is getting his picture taken.

My mom says I use to do the same thing.  

I remember her always yelling at me open your eyes when she was taking my picture.  

The glasses are actually 3-D glasses you get at the movie theater.
He popped out the lenses and waa-laa you have Drew Carey glasses.

Circus Time

The Big Top came to our little town of Centerburg.  

It was a nice little circus.  

Here are some pictures of the big event.  

Kelly Miller Circus  
They do 2 shows everyday of the year.
It was a 1 ring event and looked just like you were right in the middle of the movie Dumbo.
The only things missing were the animals on the train and a flying elephant.
Other than that, it was just like the movie.
It was amazing all the set up they had to do just for one day.

Teachers brought the kids out to watch the tent being raised in the morning.
Ryan and I couldn't miss all the fun.  We got dressed and went and watched.
They only use the female elephants to raise the big top because they are smarter.
Of course, maybe the males are smarter because they know how to get out of work.
