Great Grandma

Every Labor Day since I was born, 44 years now, my whole family travels to Milan, OH to visit my grandma. Mimi is 97 years old. We do visit her several times a year but on Labor Day weekend Milan has the Milan Melon Festival. This year all 17 of us were there. In this years picture she is sitting with all 9 of her great grandchildren. She always has cookies in the cookie jar for the kids including the big kids too.

Lucky Me

17 years ago today I married this man. I guess you could say he is my super hero. Happy Anniversary Scott!

Flying Pig

Ryan was helping pack to leave for the weekend and he threw his pig from the upstairs balcony. Here is where it landed. Pigs do fly.

Fun on the Water! 

This year we stayed home for vacation. 

We rented a boat at Alum Creek Reservoir for the afternoon

and went tubing.

charity event for the Ronald McDonald House in Lexington, KY.

We recently went out of town and had to stay in a hotel. 

As we were leaving the room I told everyone not to go out empty handed 

because we were only making one trip. 

Everyone loaded up except Ryan. 

The next thing you know he is getting mad because he doesn't 

have anything to carry.  We gave him the 2 smallest things to carry. 

He grunted the whole time he walked to the car.

He also would say heavy.  There was nothing in either one of these bags.  :o)

Ethan and Olivia went to the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green, KY

with their grandparents (Roger and Alicia, Scott's parents).

Ethan was picked to start a corvette that just came off the line.

He was the first one to sit in it, start it, and honk the horn of course.  

I bet he was on cloud nine. 

He loves fast and shiny cars!
