 Mom's 70th Birthday Bash.
My mom wanted to have a birthday party to celebrate 70
years of living.  The invitation said to wear pink or lime green and to wear
wacky sunglasses.  Notice the different sunglasses my mom is wearing.

Ryan loves his shoes so much that he wears them everywhere.  

He wears them when he is taking a bath, running around in his birthday suit, napping, swimming, etc...
If you take them off he yells SHOES! SHOES! SHOES! until you put them back on.

Parade Fun!

My dad turned his old work truck into a parade truck. 

Every year we ride on the back and throw candy.

ROAD CLOSED

Workers are working on Porter Central and Olive Green Road putting in a new bridge.
It has been really nice this summer to say to the kids to go play in the road because there
is no traffic in front of our house.  :o)

Best Buds

Jake driving Ryan around in the Gator.
Here's the story.
Jake cons Ryan into getting in the Gator and as soon as Ryan gets in Jake
takes off.  Ryan hates Jake's driving.
Ryan starts screaming and when Jake eventually stops,
Ryan jumps out and starts yelling and running away from Jake.
This happens over and over.
You would think that Ryan would learn not get in the Gator
with Jake but he keeps getting in.  
Of course, Jill and I just sit and watch the event and laugh.
We are such good mom's.  LOL!

When Ryan needs to take a nap I say close your eyes and he does.
Every once in a while he peeks to see if you are looking at him.
